The Southern Regional Water Pipeline Alliance (SRWPA) is a specific program infrastructure team developed to meet the challenging demands and timeframes of water project delivery in South East Queensland.
The Alliance partners are KBR, McConnell Dowell and Abigroup.
LinkWater, a State government owned and incorporated company established to improve the regional water supply distribution network in South East Queensland, has contracted the Alliance to oversee the planning, design and construction of the Southern Regional Water Pipeline project. This reverse flow pipeline runs from Brisbane to the Gold Coast delivering water to where it is most needed. For more information click here.
LinkWater is also delivering the Northern Pipeline Interconnector (NPI) and Eastern Pipeline Interconnector projects.
Stage 1 of the NPI and components of the EPI work are being undertaken by SRWPA.
Northern Pipeline Interconnector Stage 1 will meet emergency drought regulations linking Brisbane with the Sunshine Coast. For more information click here.
The Eastern Pipeline Interconnector will transport water between Logan City and Redland Shire, alleviating demands on the Brisbane network and the Wivenhoe and Somerset Dams. Click here for more information.
